Safety is everyone’s concern and connected vehicle technology shows the greatest promise in reducing vehicle crashes and saving lives.
Through wireless technology, connected vehicles ranging from cars and trucks to buses, motorcycles and pedestrians could one day be able to communicate important safety and mobility information to one another and the infrastructure that will help ease traffic congestion, improve the environment, prevent injuries, and, most importantly, save lives.
